I love to capture LOVE …

Hi, My name is Radhika and I am the owner and photographer at Pink Blossom Studios.I started photography 11 years back as a mom who wanted to take pictures of her little girl and my husband gifted me my first dslr as a xmas gift! The passion soon became an obsession to learn more about the different aspects of photography and very soon turned into a full time job as I realized I get immense pleasure in capturing memories for my clients. Never did I think I would leave my software career to pursue photography full time but here I am after 10 years from the that very first day, all set to capture the best day of your life.

I started with family portraits but soon moved to weddings and worked exclusively shooting weddings with an award wining wedding studio based in San Jose for 6+ years. I have shot in most venues in the bay area and have extensive experience working with Indian and Fusion weddings. On your big day I shoot as a spectator observing every little detail and capture the ceremony in the most unobtrusive, documentary style to tell the story of the day. Most couples ask me what my approach is when it comes to portraits. I guide you using prompts and even with posed portraits, I like to capture your personality making the images authentic . Yes, I can work with every lighting situation and have the gear and knowledge to do so but to me what is most important is that your wedding images should be uniquely you and reflect you and your love for each other.

I also love capturing family portraits, high school senior portraits and my work with teens has been published in several Senior magazines such as Senior Style guide, Senior Inspire, Senior year Magazine. With family and senior portraits I help you through the entire process right from selecting a location to styling which helps in the final outcome.

Looking forward to working with you! Fill in the contact form or shoot me an email @ radhikanavelkar@gmail.com. I would love to chat with you and answer all your questions. You can also reach me at 925-875-8280

FAQ (Questions I am asked frequently)

  • Do you do Video as well?

No and here is the reason why.

We prefer to concentrate on what you do best, which is delivering exceptional quality in your specific area of expertise, rather than trying to be a jack-of-all-trades by offering numerous services like photo, video, and photo booths. While some clients might initially prefer the simplicity of a single contract or the appeal of package deals, the reality is that achieving true mastery requires dedicated focus. Just look at the most respected studios – they typically specialize. Photography and videography, for instance, are distinct art forms demanding unique skills and a dedicated artistic vision. By choosing to be a master of your craft, you're ultimately prioritizing the lasting value and quality of your clients' precious memories.

We are happy to refer you videographers based on your aesthetic and who specialize in their own fields.

  • When clients tell me we found a budget friendly option that provides everything under the sun.

While there are always budget-friendly options, significantly lower prices can sometimes indicate a lack of experience, lower quality materials, or less attention to detail. This can lead to unforeseen problems or results that don't meet your expectations.

Some of the problems you might face could include the following

  • High-volume studios often rely on standardized packages to efficiently manage a large number of bookings. While convenient for the studio, these packages may not perfectly align with your unique needs and vision.

  • They are in the process of building their portfolio and not equipped to deal with a dark reception hall, unexpected weather condition, timeline disruptions etc. They are learning at your cost.

  • They might not be able to deliver on time due to the huge number of projects they undertake.

  • Every photographer and videographer has their own unique style and approach. The contractors sent might have a completely different aesthetic than what attracted you to the original studio.

  1. How would you describe your images

My photography captures the honest and heartfelt emotions of couples in love, blending the raw beauty of authentic moments with a polished, editorial style. I create images that feel both deeply personal and effortlessly chic.

  2. What is your editing style

I take a classic approach to wedding editing, dedicated to preserving the genuine colors of the day. For Indian weddings, this means celebrating their inherently vibrant and bold palette. I consciously avoid trends to create enduring images that will remain beautiful and true for years to come.
