From the Golden Gate Bridge to Cable Cars and then the Pacific Shores: A San Francisco Love Story
From a windy sunrise at Battery Spencer to the quiet glow of Lover’s Lane, capturing Chanchal and Abheejeet’s love story marked the start of 2026. Chanchal was a total Braveheart, rocking a stunning saree despite the SF chill—though I have to admit, that wind made for some incredible movement in the shots! 💨
We chased the light from the iconic tram lines to the backlit eucalyptus trees at Lover’s Lane, ending the day at Baker Beach with a color palette that felt like a painting. I loved the balance between Chanchal’s vibrant energy and Abheejeet’s steady calm.
So grateful for a "job" that introduces me to such wonderful souls.
Shreya and Vaibhav’s Gujrati Wedding at Sunol Casa Bella in Sunol
There is something truly magical about a wedding where the love in the room is palpable. Shreya and Vaibhav’s special day at Sunol Casa Bella was exactly that - a joy-filled celebration surrounded by their close family and friends.
Nestled in the heart of Sunol, Casa Bella proved to be the perfect setting for this romantic union. The venue is a photographer’s playground, offering:
Picturesque Backdrops: The estate is framed by stunning rolling hills that look like a painting come to life.
Versatile Photo Ops: From the quaint architectural details to the lush greenery, every corner offered a unique spot to capture the couple's first moments as newlyweds.
Shreya was absolutely radiant, opting for a pastel pink lehenga that perfectly complemented the soft, golden light of the afternoon. Her choice of color brought a modern, airy elegance to the traditional ceremony, making her look like she stepped straight out of a fairytale.
The day was a beautiful balance of emotion and exhilaration. After capturing the quiet, heartfelt moments at the reception, The evening was filled with Heartfelt speeches that brought a few tears (and many smiles) to the room. The couple incorporated several games that kept guests laughing and engaged.
It was an honor to document the beginning of Shreya and Vaibhav’s next chapter.
Manasi and Nidhish’s Fall engagement shoot in San Ramon
From the moment I sat down for my first consult with Manasi ,when she called me one day at night from Seattle, I knew we were on the same wavelength.
When I asked her about her vision for the shoot, she had only one request:
"The images have to be candid. I want you to capture the real love and connection between Nidhish and me.
It’s a rare and beautiful thing to work with couples who completely trust your vision and prioritize the "feeling" of a photo over a perfectly posed shot. When that trust is present, the camera disappears, and the true story of the couple begins to unfold.
To bring this vision to life, we didn't have to travel far. I reccomemded to stay right here in San Ramon, which happens to be my nieghbourhood.
There is something undeniably romantic about the Tri-Valley during the fall. We spent the afternoon wandering through the rolling hills, surrounded by the vibrant, warm hues of the changing leaves. The landscape provided the perfect organic setting for Manasi and Nidhish to simply be together.
Because they trusted me so implicitly, I was able to focus on the quiet, unscripted moments.
I am so incredibly grateful to work with couples like Manasi and Nidhish who remind me why I picked up a camera in the first place.
Vasudha and Shubhankar’s intimate South Indian Wedding at the Shiva Vishnu Temple in Livermore
Vasudha and Shubhankar's wedding at the stunning Shiva Vishnu Temple in Livermore was a beautiful celebration—a vibrant tapestry woven with North Karnataka traditions and a distinct South Indian aesthetic.
From our very first conversation, it was clear that Vasudha was a bride with a vision. She knew exactly how she wanted her wedding pictures to look, down to the last intricate detail. Styled Shoot with Kismet by Harjot at San Ramon Mariott
Grateful for the creative energy, artistry, and heart each an every vendor poured it this production! It was indeed a labor of love.
For the 1st shoot which was Set against the serenity of the redwoods, we crafted a scene that felt timeless, soulful, and rooted in artistry. The soft baroque styled draping, organic florals, and heirloom-inspired details came together to frame this fashion collection.
For the second shoot Fall gave us the dreamiest backdrop; golden light, crisp air & all the earthy tones we love!
@kismetbyharjot styled our decor and fashion to flow right into the landscape, letting the outdoors set the tone while we elevated the moment with intentional textures, warm florals, and chic seasonal outfits.

PriyaDarshini and Jitin’s Traditional Tamil Wedding in Carmel
Priya was reffered to us by a friend who noticed us in action and our work at her friends wedding. This I consider a huge honor.
Priya and Jitin’s wedding at Wedgewood Carmel-by-the-Sea was a stunning blend of tradition, adventure, and the raw beauty of the California coast.
The day began before the sun had even fully climbed over the horizon. To take advantage of the ethereal, soft glow of dawn, we started with an early morning couple’s session on the beach. There is a quiet magic to Carmel at that hour—just the sound of the waves and the two of them.
Following our sunrise session, we headed to the bridal suite at Wedgewood. Having photographed at several Wedgewood properties, I’m always impressed by their elegance, and the Carmel location is no exception. It provided the perfect, sophisticated backdrop for Priya’s bridal portraits as she prepared for the ceremony.
The heart of the day was a beautiful Tamil traditional ceremony. The vibrant colors of the rituals looked striking against the coastal scenery. One of my favorite parts of South Indian weddings is the transition from the solemnity of the vows to the lightheartedness of the traditional games. It brought such a wonderful energy to the morning, filled with laughter from their families.
Priya and Jitin are truly an adventurous duo. After the ceremony, despite the notorious chill of the Pacific waters, they were more than willing to head down to the shoreline. Capturing them against the pristine white sands and turquoise water of Carmel Beach was a photographer’s dream. Their willingness to get a little wet and sandy resulted in some of the most authentic, breathtaking shots of the day.
After a joyful lunch filled with more games and dancing, we wasn't finished yet. As the sun began to dip lower, we made our way to a nearby beach in Monterey for post-reception portraits. The "Golden Hour" lived up to its name, casting a warm, amber glow over the couple—a perfect, serene end to a high-energy day.
"Working with couples like Priya and Jitin reminds us why we love what we do. They embraced every moment—from the early morning chill to the splashing waves—with nothing but smiles."
Are you planning a coastal wedding? I’d love to help you capture the magical moments against the backdrop California coast.
Divya and Lalith’s engagement shoot at the Legion of Honor and Chrissy beach in San Francisco
When Lalith first reached out to me from Washington D.C. to inquire about an engagement shoot in San Francisco, I knew we were about to create something special. Distance is never a barrier when it comes to planning a dream session, and soon I was connected with Divya to begin the creative process.
Planning an engagement session is about more than just picking a location; it’s about storytelling. Divya and I had the best time collaborating on their outfits, ensuring every look complemented the iconic backdrops of the Bay Area. We decided on llegion of honor as our first location followed by Crissy beach for our second location.
From the moment they stepped in front of the lens, Divya and Lalith were an absolute dream to photograph. As a photographer, there is no greater gift than a couple who offers their complete trust. They leaned into the process, went with the flow, and were open to every creative idea I threw their way.
That level of comfort and confidence is exactly what allows the "real" moments to shine through. Whether it was a quiet glance or a shared laugh, their chemistry made my job easy.
The results? Pure magic. There is a certain sweeping, epic quality to their gallery that feels incredibly cinematic.
From the architectural elegance of the Legion of Honor, where the soft, diffused light created an air of timeless sophistication, to the radiant golden glow at Crissy Field with the Golden Gate Bridge standing tall in the background, this session was a dream. We managed to blend the charm of San Francisco with a romantic intensity that jumped right off the screen.
Why Trust Matters
This session was a perfect reminder of why the "connection" phase of wedding photography is so important. Because Divya and Lalith trusted the vision we built together during those planning calls, they were able to relax and simply enjoy being in love—and the photos speak for themselves.
Are you planning a destination engagement session in San Francisco? I'd love to help you coordinate the perfect wardrobe and locations to tell your story.
Deepthy and Pradeeps Engagement shoot at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco
There is something incredibly special about blending "home" with where you are now. While Deepti and Pradeep were preparing for their traditional wedding in Kerala, they wanted to capture their life together in the Bay Area with a pre-wedding session in San Francisco.
When I first spoke to Deepti on the phone, and later when they visited my home to plan their session, I was immediately struck by their energy. They are two of the most joyful, fun-loving people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
The one thing I knew I had to capture? Deepti’s laugh and her child like innocence. It’s truly infectious, and I wanted her vibrant personality to be the heartbeat of these images.
San Francisco is one of the most photogenic cities in the world, offering a mix of dramatic coastline, European-style architecture, and "hidden" urban gems like Bakers beach, legion of Honor, Lovers lane, City hall, embarcaderro building, painted ladies, ghiradeli square, Union square and more. We decided to go with the white and gold onam traditional onam outfits against the beautiful architecture of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Fracisco for their shoot.I loved the white against the warm, earthy browns of the Palace pillars and the lush California greenery.
I’ve always believed that the best photos aren't just posed—they’re felt. To achieve a cinematic feel, I focused on movement: the way the fabric of the traditional attire caught the breeze, the way they walked through the rotunda, and those unscripted moments of pure emotion.
Ramya + Sundeep’s traditional Telgu Wedding at the Blanco Urban Venue in San Jose
Ramya and Sundeep's Telgu wedding at Blanco Urban in Downtown San Jose was a truly joyous occasion. The couple was a dream to work with, and I especially loved capturing Ramya's beautiful, candid laugh.
The all-white venue provided the perfect backdrop for the vibrant Indian colors to truly shine. Against this clean, urban canvas, Sahi Events' colorful floral mandap was simply stunning.
Being in the heart of the city, Blanco Urban also gave us a variety of fantastic urban backdrops for their photoshoot, adding a modern twist to their special day.

Malvika and Rahul’s Wedding at the Rengstorff House in Mountain view
Malvika and Rahul had their wedding at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View, California. The Rengstorff House is a historic Victorian mansion that is often used as a wedding venue.
They personalized their wedding with special touches, like the jelly ring exchange and Rahul's lightsaber for the baraat. They had a vow ceremony before the varmala exchange followed by the hindu ceremony. I love how they blended fun traditions of their own with the tradition rituals.
The ceremony was followed by speeches from close friends and family, a sundowner first dance and lots of dancing! They let guest select a few of their favorite books take home as favors. It’s a wonderful example of how couples can make a wedding uniquely their own!

A Spring Celebration Filled with Vibrant Hues and Joyful Moments at Wedgewood Redwood Canyon
We had an absolute blast capturing Mackynley and Jacob's wedding at the stunning Wedgewood Redwood Canyon in Castro Valley this spring! From our very first conversation last year, they emphasized how much they loved the vibrant colors and candid images in our portfolio, and they wanted that same lively, authentic feel for their own big day. Kjellen + Arjun Telgu Wedding at Hakone Garden in Saratoga
When Kjellen first booked me, she shared something that truly resonated: she'd scoured Instagram and what really stood out in my portfolio was how I capture the genuine connection between couples. Emily and Onkar’s Wedding at The Genral’s Residence Fort Mason San Francisco
I distinctly remember the day Onkar called me to ask about my availability to shoot their wedding. I wasn’t available and had blocked those dates for a family vacation. Onkar told me he is photographer himself and loved the colors and skin tones in my images. I absolutely love it when couples are as passionate about photography as I am and they know exactly what they like. After a lot of discussion with family changed my vacation dates from June to August, and I am so glad I did. We had a zoom call and I knew it was a perfect fit and after that and the rest is history.
Note: I love having a zoom call so I get to know the couples I am shooting a little better. For couples looking to book a photographer, remember you will be spending a lot of time being photographed on the best day of your life and it is always nice to know each other to make sure it is a perfect fit both ways. It is not just the images that matter, it is the entire experience that counts. The camera captures ever little detail that our eyes miss and how comfortable you are and how much at ease you are with your photographer often shows up in your images.
I shot Emily and Onkar’s wedding over a period of 3 days. They had an intimate Haldi at his brother’s house, a sangeet at the New Delhi Restaurant in San Francisco and wedding at the Genral’s Residence Fort Mason in San Francisco. Not only were Emily and Onkar amazing subjects to photograph , but also very warm and fun to work with. We planned the timeline so we had ample time for portraits and creative shots on all 3 days and I had the most willing model subjects. Add to it beautiful views at the Genral’s residence, Fort Mason. What more could a photographer ever want? Thank you for your patience and trust Emily and Onkar!
